Product details
3M Cavilon no-sting barrier film wipes are an suitable solution to soothe fragile skin around a wound and help protect it from irritations. These barrier wipes are suitable to limit medical adhesive-related skin injuries, periwound and peristomal skin damage and dermatitis and moisture-damaged skin. With the mild protective barrier wipes, they can provide to treatment and relief on damaged skin. Skin protective wipes contain hexamethyldisilane, isooctane, acrylate terpolymer and polyphenylmethylsiloxane for maximum effectiveness. The strength of the solution is 35 to 65 percent, and each wipe contains 1 milliliter of solution. This alcohol-free wipe is individually wrapped and sterile to help limit infections in the fragile area around a wound. Its hypoallergenic formula shields against stinging or irritation to the skin. They measure 1 inch by 2 inches.

This is used where tape on a wound goes before the tape. The tape sticks to this clear barrier so when it's removed it does not hurt so much or leave red marks

Has helped keep the edges of the wound clean and helped the healing process. Pleasantly surprised I could order this from Walmart. Advised by a wound professional to keep these on hand. Was advised never to place on the wound itself, only at the edges.
