Great alarm!

Two of my Kidde C3010 alarms, manufactured in Dec 2014 both need to be replaced. They began beeping at me within two days of each other. It's Nov 2025, so they made it almost 11 years! I think some people who take issue with the lifespan of these alarms may need to look at the manufacture date on the device, not the date of install, before writing negative reviews. Also, read the back of the alarm and it will tell you how to disable the battery when it starts beeping at time of replacement.
