follow up on last review

just a follow up on previous review. don't know why but this one didn't align the pulleys correctly either. had to purchase 1/4" spacers for local hardware store to ger proper spacing but got it to work. must be the nature of this particular beast that causes the problems (86 F250 Lariat with 460ci) also needed to change to longer V-belt. I recommend it but be prepared to modify for your particular installation.

good replacement for the 10lb of cast iron

not exactly a low mount but better than the cast iron EPA block. wasn't my first pick. order one for CVF but it put alternator to low and alignment didn't work so I went on a limb and ordered this one. wasn't polished aluminum but was looking for something that worked. didn't take long to ship and when I opened the package, ZERO instructions, not even a invoice. so had to play around with possible configuration before I found one that worked. mounts the alternator a bit higher than original location but better than the CVF. would have given it a 5 star but the fact of no instructions, not even a suggestion of where to put it, costs it a star!
