its good,like any hair gel it feels like that ,when appling wet looking like you used water,it stiffens up when dry my hair felt like hay ,but it holded down the short hairs well even if you brush you hair to separate the stiffen hair,didnt look dry like hay but it felt like it ,others than that it works well for me.
