Hunting in Alberta,CA

I was hunting in -30 to -40 degree temperatures for 10-11 hours days. The Iron tuff coveralls performed better than expected. The outer shell is a little noisy for hunting but my body was warm. If they would make a soft, less noisy outer material I wouldn't buy anything else.

My 85 year old neighbor has had a pair of these for something like 40 years, and I couldn't believe how well they held up, as he was an arborist for Asplundh and routinely had to do tree work in ice and snow. What is crazy is he said he got them second-hand, and they STILL look good, aside from being obviously faded. I got a pair this winter, and they are absolutely the real deal. It was 9 degrees today and I shoveled snow for 3 hours. I couldn't wear a hat or the hood or gloves for that matter, because I was so warm! If you abuse your gear and have to work in the cold (and it had better be, or you'll roast!) there is nothing better than this suit. And while it is pricey, if it can last for several decades it will be well worth it. Do yourself a favor and grab one of these, you won't regret it.

I am completely satisfied with these coveralls. The fit is exactly what I wanted, I ususally use a large but ordered extra large so I could put extra clothes underneath if needed. Since I have received these I have used them and I will not need any extra clothes underneath the coveralls but the extra space I have with going with the extra large gives me more flexibility in movement. I don't feel bound up and have plenty of room to move about freely. It's exactly what I wanted and it's exactly what I got.
