Overview
GlowShift Fuel Rail Thread Adapters for Chevrolet GM LS Engines make it easy to install a 1/8-27 NPT fuel pressure sensor without major modifications. Add the sensor directly to the fuel pressure test port on the fuel rail and avoid any need to remove the Schrader Valve at the same time. This GM fuel rail adapter has a 1/8" NPT Female to Male 90 Degree Elbow and a -4 AN Fuel Rail Adapter fitting. Each GM Fuel Rail Schrader Valve Adapter is designed for GM cars and trucks equipped with an electronic fuel pressure test port. Install to virtually any Chevy LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, LS9 or LSA engine.

Keep the Schrader Valve
This GM fuel rail pressure gauge adapter works on multiport fuel injected engines that have a Schrader Valve on the fuel rail: every modern GM V8 fuel injection car has the Schrader Valve installed to check fuel pressure. There is an adjustable height pin to depress the Schrader Valve, so there is no need to remove it in the process of installing the adapter.

Note: If there isn’t a reading on the fuel pressure gauge, the GM fuel rail adapter is not depressing the Schrader Valve and needs to be adjusted. Remove the adapter and sensor from the adapter. Using a 1/16” Allen key, rotate clockwise to adjust the pin closer to the Schrader Valve. Turn counterclockwise to adjust the pin further away. Reinstall once the correct depth is set.
