If your power sander uses a hook and loop backing, HART has the right sanding disc for every material, smoothness requirement and application. This sanding disc is 5” in diameter with a hook and loop backing and an 8-hole configuration. Coated with industrial quality resin-bonded aluminum oxide, the 80-grit (medium) material is great for moderate stock removal and sanding prep before painting on wood, metals and plastics. Apart from all that, the disc resists moisture and heat, making it ideal for wet or dry sanding. I have always used a hand sander that required cutting and the difficult fit. I recently purchased a Hart product and was very happy. I was so pleased I started purchasing other tools to replace my older, heavier tools. Everything was great, outstanding. Now, these sander replacements are a true time saver. They fit the hand sander perfectly. The more or less velcro attachment to the tool is quick and painless. The quality of the grit is long-term use. I wish I had measured the dimension that I worked on with 1 pad. It was a good large area. Used 2 batteries. So far, for everyday use, household tools from Hart products are the perfect replacements for the heavy high dollar tools. I will eventually replace all my tools. These discs are highly recommended, as are all the Hart tools, in my opinion!
