Design Imports Rose Lattice Oven Mitt & Potholder Set

This oven Mitt set is very pretty. My problem with it is that that's all it is, pretty. It doesn't do good with protecting your hands from a heated pan in the oven. I picked up my lasagna pan out of the oven and felt the heat rushing through the Mitt. If I had continued to hold it any longer than a few seconds, my hands would've burned. Thank goodness I wasn't trying to carry it anywhere that was far from the oven. This Mitt is only good as a pot handle cover at this point, NOT for handling things coming out of a oven! I was not expecting exceptional quality, but I would've at least liked the product to do what it's supposed to do, protect your hands from the heat! I suggest that it's better to just invest in a good quality oven Mitt even though its pricey. Cheap oven mitts are not worth a bad burn and the amount of money you'd have to pay in the hospital.
