Extremely impressive razor. Top of the line and far exceeds my expectations plus has some great added features that make this razor go above and beyond many of the other razors on the market. This razor was for my husband who, thanks to the Norelco 9300, is now a convert to electric razors. Before receiving this razor he always preferred the disposable type because he thought they gave him a closer shave. Not any more. He says this razor works just as well but is a whole lot more convenient. It really does contour to your face . It's pretty incredible the way it seemlessly adjusts to every curve. It glides so smoothly over your face and lifts each hair before it cuts which gives a phenominal shave. His face feels just as smooth as if he had used a disposable blade. This razor is also a wet/dry razor so it can be used in the shower and with or without shaving cream. There are indicaters that tell how much charge you have left, when you need to replace the cleaning cartridge, which should be about every 3 months, and even when you need to replace the shaver heads, which they recommend is done once a year. The Smart Cleaning System is a great added feature. You just set the razor in with the heads down and it automatically cleans it all while continuing to charge so you are ready with a freshly charged razor every time. The smart clean system cleans dries and lubricates the blades, as well as charges at the push of a button. You can also clean it yourself by simply remove the top of the shaving head and rinsing under running water. I was so happy to see that the razor can also be charged directly so you don't have to always have the larger cleaning stand which makes it convenient to travel with and it includes a very nice traveling case. Last, but definitely not least, another feature that sold my husband on this electric razor is the smart click precision trimmer which is included in the box. It work great to trim up your mustache, side burns or for a quick shape up. There is also the beard styler and cleansing brush that can be purchased separately that also easily click right into the Norelco 9300. Although this razor is a on the higher end in terms of pricing, I feel it is worth every penny. I don't think he will ever go back to disposables again.

Honestly, I've never been a huge fan of electric razors and have always preferred manual razors/safety razors. This electric razor however; has totally changed the way I approach my daily grooming routine and I'm confident it'll do the same for you. Just be aware that Norelco suggests: “you do not use this unit if you've not shaved in the past 3 days”. If this is the case, they recommend doing a pre-trim before using the product. There are many beneficial features this product incorporates so I'll go over my favorites. 1. The SmartClean station solution lasts for 3 months and you can charge the razor while it's being cleaned. An indicator light will come on when it's time to change your cleaning solution. As if that were not enough, Norelco also designed this SmartClean station to cycle itself through a drying phase too, which takes about 4 hours to complete. The cleaning portion only takes 10 minutes; make sure the razor is charged before placing it into the station. 2. For many of you traveling, it has 2 really neat features that will come in very handy for sure. You can engage the travel lock function to ensure the razor does not turn on; which prevents damaging the micro-blades and preserves battery life. If the battery is totally dead, you can do an easy quick charge for about 5 minutes giving you enough power for a 3 minute shave. 3. I really enjoy using this razor around those sensitive areas (Nose, mouth); you can and will get a smooth/clean shave every time! Wet/dry this cordless razor is just AWESOME! It's a must have for any man, especially if you're on the go all the time like myself. Completely charging this razor only takes one full hour and gives you 50 minutes of shave time. 4. This Phillips Norelco 9300 series really does have it all. I enjoy knowing when the unit should be cleaned; there is an indicator light that comes on after each shave reminding you to clean. It also has 3 various speed levels, low, medium and high. I would highly recommend this razor to anyone. Buy one today for yourself or that special someone on your shopping list!
