Hisense AP1021CW1G 10000-BTU DOE 115-Volt Grey Portable AC Wi-Fi Compatibility

Bought this AC prior to the inevitable heatwaves. Considering it's a portable AC with a 1 hose design, I have to say it works pretty good. Cools down rather quickly, it doesn't ever get hot to the touch even after a full day running. The hose obviously gives off some heat, but that can't be avoided. In terms of noise, I mean, it is what it is - I'm not sure these can ever be considered "quiet". It's no worst than anything else on the market I'm sure. My only criticism is that the remote is a little crap in terms of range - you basically have to stand in front of the AC 10 feet or less. Bottom line is: If you can, use a window unit > if you find a 2 hose design on a portable AC, it'll be much better in terms of efficiency > if you're looking at this one vs the million other 1 hose portable ACs out there, I would say it's a good unit.

The air conditioner was easy to set up and use. It cools our space very easily and was perfect for our purposes. I did order one with a slightly higher BTU than recommended for our room size and I think that was honestly the best choice. I do suggest you get other window liner foam than the ones they provide - they don't come off the sills easily and leave a residue. I bought trailer insulator foam strip instead at home Depot and it worked amazing for a better seal.
