Sun Zero Amherst Velvet 96-Inch Thermal Total Blackout Back Tab Window Curtain Panel in Ecru

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of Sun Zero - Amherst 50x84 Grey Curtain Panels! These are velvet material curtains and there so soft and comfortable! I hung these curtains in my living room because the sun beats all day on that window! I've had these curtains up for 2 weeks and it helps keep the temperature down in the living room! It has also keeps it really dark at night you can't even see the street lights through them! They actually help sound out the traffic through the day because I live on a street that's pretty busy! These are great curtains, gonna have to invest in some more for the rest of my house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've got 2 toddlers so every night has been a struggle getting them to bed. During the summer it stays light outside well past their bedtime so they always says it's too light to go to bed. I decided to try some blackout curtains to see if it would help and these work great! I had never tried blackout curtains before so I didn't know what to expect. It was mid afternoon when I replaced their old curtains with these and I could immediately tell the difference. My daughter actually asked me if it was bedtime because it blocked so much light from coming in through the windows. The fabric is really nice and feels softer than most of the curtains I've had before. It's thick and feels very durable. I love how nice and long they are as well, we have tall windows so sometimes it's hard finding curtains that don't look too short. These go almost all the way to the floor. They do their job well. When bedtime finally did come I was able to get my girls to sleep easily because their room was actually dark even though it was light out for at least an hour past the time I put them in bed. Finally bedtime can be an easy affair.
