Rachael Ray 16-Piece Cucina Stoneware/Ceramic Dinnerware Set, Cranberry Red

This set is gorgeous. It exceeded my expectations when I received it and opened the box. I love the color, great for fall. The color was stated as being pumpkin but it's even better. Around the top rims of the bowls and mugs it has a rustic brown edge like it's been worn by age. It's beautiful. The mugs and bowls have a wavy surface on the outside and the edges of the salad plate and dinner plate have the same edge. The bowls are quite unique in size. They are small but deep...perfect for soup. They are dishwasher safe as described. I am lazy when it comes to dishes so I like to throw everything in the dishwasher...They came out great. No chips or scratches. I wish I had gotten 2 sets so I could use them for company too. Now if I can find a Rachel Ray silverware set to match. These dishes just became my new favorites for every day. I would recommend this set to my friends and family. I included pictures but they don't do this set justice.....It's much prettier in person.

This dinnerware is not only beautiful it is sturdy. The dinnerware is 16 pieces, with dinner plates, bread/or snack plates, large bowls and mugs. Being that these dishes are stoneware it makes them very versatile. The dishes are plain and without a lot of design, but are perfect for any gathering from daily meals to large thanksgiving feast. The mugs are great for coffee and tea drinkers and even enjoying a small cup of soup. I enjoyed using the entire ensemble at dinner. The dishes are also dishwasher safe, they also work well in the microwave and make the table so beautiful during this time of year (autumn). I normally keep my table set, so now that the seasons have changed this dinnerware set makes the dining room look inviting. Being that that the color is pumpkin it helped make the table look festive with the autumn placemats and napkins. These dishes are not just for this time of year, I think that they will work with any family any day though out the year. These dishes would also so work for a man living alone and they would not be too feminine, these would be great also for people on their own for the very first time. Beautiful, Sturdy and Versatile.
