Denzel at his finest again

Denzel at his finest once again. This was a solid follow up to the first movie and had a good plot and story to tell. Great action and acting as expected. Glad to add it to my collection

I used to watch the Equalizer series on CBS and was game to watch the films. The film series really makes Robert McCall into a different character more focus on McCall soley (with no real team) and a lot more physical hand to hand combat. Equalizer 2 is Denzel's first sequel so its interesting to see him play the same character a second time. This time McCall's driving for Lyft while occasionally assisting people. Eventually he's gets drawn into the investigation of a friend's death and ultimately decides to cancel the ticket for everyone involved leading to a final showdown. The Equalizer 2 is mildly entertaining and Denzel elevates the film but there is only so much he can do.
