My 8 year old son is absolutely obsessed with the original building bricks, he has more sets than I'd like to admit and he's eager to keep building and creating. But it can really add up quickly. I've even gotten bricks from the dollar store, but they definitely aren't the same quality. So when I saw this giant bag of 1,100 of interlocking bricks I jumped on them! When I received the bag I couldn't believe how many it actually was! The bag is huge and heavy and full of so much variety. The quality is exactly the same as the og brand name. I can't believe it! Honestly I'm so thrilled I found these for my little master builder. Now for his opinion- he can't tell the difference at all! He loves that it has a variety of colors that way he can add on to sets he already has going and build new creations as well. He is literally giddy! When he saw the huge bag he was as shocked as I was with the size and his eyes just lit up! We are both so happy with the quality and variety of colors this has. He even found an eye, which apparently is rare in a big bag like this. I would honestly 100% recommend this! It would excellent for a Christmas or birthday gift in my opinion. I'm not usually this excited to review an item but this far surpasses my expectations!

So, if you're looking for something to occupy your kids (and maybe even yourself!) for hours, get your hands on this set! 1100 blocks are all shown in my pictures!! I had no idea how that many blocks would look but this is a ton. It's a great selection to of different sizes, shapes and colors. Comes with 8 wheels (the tires come separated, you have to put them together yourself), 4 windows and doors and the shutters and doors open and close (again, you have to insert the shutters and door yourself). We opened this set yesterday while I was making dinner and my kids played well into bedtime and then started playing again this morning, just creating different things. Another great thing is they fit together with mainstream brands of blocks just fine and the kids don't even know the difference. The possibilities are endless with this set, there is so much room for creativity! I definitely recommend this set!
