Pet owners' rescue
I've been using this stuff for over 20 years. I first read about it in a major consumer magazine that claimed it worked better than commercial cleaners and was an environmentally friendly product to boot. When I had wtw carpeting I used Host - a big job unless you rent one of those scrubber machines. But it was worth it -- did an excellent job. Now I have hardwoods with area carpets. Invariably when my dog gets "caught short" he chooses the area carpets. And Host comes to the rescue every time. Every pet owner should keep this stuff on hand.

Use this on my seagrass carpet and have used it in the past on synthetic pile carpets. Works great, leaves absolutely no residue and smells fresh, no lingering perfume.
