A higher pressure bypass spring in an oil pump forces more oil through the engine while a lower pressure spring allows for more oil to be recycled within the pump. This spring allows you to replace your stock standard pressure spring with one of a higher pressure. The spring raises the oil pumps bypass pressure to 60-85 PSI.;
