Ceiling Medallion

This ceiling medallion are a perfect for me 70lbs chandelier, it make my chandelier stand out, and looks so beautiful after I stain the medallion in my favorite color mahogany. I really recommend who ever love to makes their ceiling stand out or just to impress their guess. Large Size Needed for High Ceilings

We were looking for some architectural accents that would help create focal points in an open area with long narrow rooms. Because of our 10 foot high ceilings, we needed a LARGE medallion, something we could not find locally in any home improvement store. Anything smaller would have looked puny. I painted the medallion in a deep burgundy color to match the wood trim in the rest of the kitchen, and it did the trick. It was a little difficult to install simply because, with its size, we needed 2 people on 2 8 ft. ladders, but my husband and I managed the task. The holes for installation were easy to drill, and once we completed the project, after a lot of maneuvering and laughing, we both loved the look.

elegant ceiling medallion

We ordered it painted in pot of creme and it is lovely. There are tiny brushes of gold paint throughout. We ordered it without a center hole because we have canned lighting. Affixing it on our ceiling was not difficult. It adds a warm elegant feeing to our dining room.
