Good lead, solid design, tough, very durable and easy to use. Use it for writing, work, (blue collar work making marks for projects ect. ) The lead isnt soft so you can make marks with it like you would similar to a carpenter pencil depending on what you are doing. Im a government worker and also do metal work on the side and as a hobby and I can say if I lost this pencil today or somehow destroyed it I would buy another asap. I love all their products and have everything from over 10 of their notebooks to their loose leaf paper and the standard pen they make. Everything lives up to its description and standard.
