I live in a non electric cabin so use a lot of USB items. This is the best fan for the money and it doesn't draw a ton of power, even on high. Because it is actually made of metal (almost unheard of these days) it stands up to my dog booping it with her nose and knocking it onto the floor from the stand. They would be great for camping or "van" dwelling as well. Although they don't have a built in battery I hook mine to a portable battery pack (like you use for your cell phone) and use it. I ended up buying 3. Highly recommend.

Love these tiny fans!

These Better Homes and Gardens fans are tiny, but they are cute, functional, and are strong! They're perfect for bedrooms and other small spaces, and are helping us sleep more comfortably. Although small, they cool much better than larger plastic fans, and tuck away on a shelf when not in use. I've got two now, and plan to get a few more. Maybe even one for each of my grandkids to use in their rooms at home (they're all teens).

I absolutely adore this fan! It is extremely quiet, sometimes I have to check to see if it's on. The air comes out powerful enough I don't always have it on high. It matches the color of my work desk perfectly. Small enough it does not take up too much room on my desk either.
