Fenwick® Eagle® Spinning Rod

I got this rod at a local tackle shop for to the moderate action vs the fast action of my Field and Stream Tec-Lite UL rod. To be clear, I never thought I'd fall in love with this rod the way I have. I use it way more than my Tec Lite now, the moderate action fits my fishing style so much more and the sensitivity on this rod is nothing short of state of the art. I've caught everything from micro fish on a tanago hook to 12lb carp with 4lb test on this rod. I have it paired with my size 500 shimano sienna 500 fg. I highly recommend this rod for multi species fishing and I'm going to be a Fenwick customer for life!

The first time I cast using this rod with a Shimano setup, I sent my lure halfway across the pond - a good 20% further than my best cast on lower quality rods. The second cast landed the largest trout I've ever caught. I've been "hooked" myself ever since.
