The trunk lock actuator motor on my 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis began to malfunction, and after I took it off and analyzed the problem, I determined that it must be replaced. Ford Parts were too expensive (it is not a critical item), and the local salvage yards did not want to part with the actuators from the trunk lids that were available. A friend of mine at the Ford dealership suggested that I try on line. After looking at a few of the online providers of auto parts, I found Geek Parts the easiest site to use, and their prices were equal to or lower than the other sites. I certainly plan to use Geek Parts in the future, and I would recommend their site to others looking for auto parts online.
