Fantastic little A/C unit

I’ve been using this Midea window A/C in my bedroom and it has done a great job so far. It cools the room quickly, even when it’s hot outside, and keeps a steady temperature without constantly cycling on and off. The noise level is surprisingly low—just a soft hum that actually makes it easy to sleep with. The controls are simple and the digital display is bright and easy to read from across the room. I like that it responds well to small adjustments and doesn’t blast freezing air all at once. Installation was straightforward, and once set up, it sealed well and didn’t let in outside noise or air. Amazing Unit

The AC unit I have for the house has not been cooling properly and it has been super hot. Just adding this unit into my room has helped so much. I love a cold house, and having this unit makes it feel like I am in a hotel room with their ice cold ac.

First off let me address some of the reasons why I see people leaving one star. Having it come broken is not a reason to give this one star, has nothing to do with the performance. Saying it doesn't cool your area is not a reason to give it one star, it could be too small for the area provided, you could have the energy saver option on. I also saw ridiculous things like one stars because the buttons are too noisy at night with a blue light LED is too bright.. This is a wonderful unit, however this unit is not meant to cool off an entire house. I have a fairly large bedroom and I have been sleeping like a little baby. It was easy to install, not very heavy and while of course it makes noise it's not the loudest air conditioner I've ever had. The compressor isn't overly noisy so you don't hear that refrigerator sound. This unit is one of my favorite air conditioners I've ever used. I've never had a problem with it turning off or on because I don't have energy saver turned on. If you're looking for an affordable air conditioner that's easy to use it gets my highest recommendations. I don't use the remote at all because it has the function of adjusting the temperature to where the remote is and that technology I feel could cause me problems. It's not a feature I need. I don't find it strenuous to walk over to the air conditioner and use it. A
