I am honored and excited to bring you a first edition of the Women of the World Network Anthologies Series, where we honor women from all over the world! We are excited to share nineteen beautiful and heartfelt stories of struggle, strength, character, commitment, and endurance. These stories bring light to the personal lives of immigrant ladies that fought their way to start a new life in the US and stories of local ladies who grew up here in the US and who share their life struggles. All of those stories share lessons each one of them discovered while going through challenges.

While putting this book together, I asked ladies to share their personal stories and lessons learned along the way with the purpose of educating our readers; some stories include historical moments and war escapes that became life-altering lessons. This book will help educate, inspire, and elevate your knowledge of some cultural upbringings and raise your awareness of some deeply wounded personal stories that ladies had to cope with and, as a result, have created a life that now empowers others.
