The Oasis King: The Oasis Chronicles, (Paperback)

This book is a great kid's book that I happened to enjoy - though not quite a “kid” any longer. The adventure the three boys took was action filled and pulled you in. If you're looking for a fun story with a great message for your young reader, this is it. It's the first of a series and I believe it could be the beginning of your child/grandchild's love for reading. They'll be asking for the next story as soon as you finish the last page. It's a fantastic book you could read along with them - and you'll both enjoy it. Highly recommend it. The Oasis King by Mark David Pullen is the first book in The Oasis Chronicles series. It is an action-adventure book for middle school-aged children, and it's a clean, unique, and suspense-filled story with an underlying faith message throughout. I loved the adventurous spirits within the boys and seeing the Valley of the Oasis through their eyes. This dangerous paradise was thrilling to journey through with primal predators, ambitious villains, and unsolved mysteries that kept me turning pages until the end. And what an end! This story will have you begging for the next book in the series! Overall, I enjoyed this fast-paced story, and I would love for my boys to read The Oasis King, knowing it is a clean read full of fun and entertainment. It will inspire the imagination of all readers no matter their age. I was given a copy of this book by the author with no expectations of a positive review. All opinions are my own.
