The Convert-A-Ball Hitch Balls & Shank Set comes with two interchangeable nickel-plated steel balls and a 1" shank. Strength, versatility and Convert-A-Ball quality unite in this cushioned combination pintle hitch/ball mount that fits a 2" trailer hitch. Includes 3 nickel-plated balls (3,500 to 8,000 lbs GTW) and a pintle sleeve adapter (16,000 lbs GTW). To use the unit as a pintle hitch, simply slip the stainless steel pintle sleeve over the 1" diameter hitch ball shank. Once in place, the sleeve accepts the lunette ring on the trailer, and the handle comes over and locks in place to create a strong, reliable pintle hitch with a towing capacity of 25,000 lbs. Backed up by the security of a double-locking system, this pintle hook combo offers safety, versatility and performance for those towing with a lunette ring.
