Mexican Chili Powder

I use this to make my Cincinnati Chili that is like Skyline Chili, sort of, lol. This recipe calls for this brand which is not just regular chili powder. The Mexican flavor is what I like. It adds so much to the dish. I still use chili powder. No store where I live have this brand. My grandmother's recipe is so good. Everyone I make it for LOVE it. I have to make 8 lbs usually. So happy that I can order both my packets I need for my Chili Spaghetti. Love Beuno Vita.

All chili powders not created equal

The Frank Tea & Spice Company used to be located in my hometown of Cincinnati. So my family always used the Frank's chili powder. I realized its value when we were in Arizona. I made chili for a gathering and bought one of the chili powder brands in a grocery store. Arizona is a big chili capital so I didn't give it a second thought. The chili I made turned out to have a totally different flavor, and not in a good way, so that taught me a lesson. Frank's chili powder is now "Buena Vida." I use no other brand.
