Tough cowl!

The only reason I did not give this cowl a 5 on quality was because the decals do not stick on good enough (with is a problem with most decals). Otherwise this is one tough cowl. I was training one of my stores student pilots and he ran the Apprentice into a concrete curve on take-off. It hit it at about 1/2 throttle. I could not believe it...the cowl was not even cracked.

Looks great - Keep a spare handy

This is the Cowl for the Apprentice S 15e. This is a part you'll need soon or later if you fly the Apprentice on a regular basis. The cowl comes with the mounting screws and a decal set. It may appear like they shorted you by sending only one decal but they are stacked and stuck together. The decal is longer than necessary for a reason, Mount the cowl first before applying the decal. Following the pattern of the side stripe on the fuselage and place the new decal over the side stripe and move back in forth until the size blends and matches on both the fuselage and cowl, then let the new decal extend on to the new cowl. Use an Xacto knife to cut the decal between the cowl and fuselage, using only enough pressure to cut the decal. The decal will now blend perfectly from the planes fuselage to the cowl. Remove the unneeded excess. It is recommended you keep a spare cowl set on on hand, just in case...

Perfect Fit

I'm a new flyer and crash a lot. I have had to purchase about a dozen of these cowls so far and they have all fit perfectly. The decals also fit just right. My only complaint is that the cowls are very fragile and can't be repaired with epoxy or glue.
