Our Vet recommended, Omega 3-6-9 for our 2 year old Lab. Ollie loves to swim and always developed hot-spots which he would constantly scratch. Omega 3-6-9 WORKS. He still swims nearly every day and NO hot-spots for a year! He takes 2 pills a day; one with each meal. Being a Lab he has a Labatite, so we just put the capsule in with his dry food. No problem!
