Cute garden feature

Very cute and easy to assemble. As with other reviews, it is best to seal the wood with a good clear oil base to make it last longer through sun and rain/snow. To improve on it, I ordered a 12 volt pump ($16) so as to put it out in the garden area and used 50 feet of weather/water proof 16 AWG wire for the power run. I added a "plug-in" 12 volt power supply ($15) to feed the wire underground via 1/2 inch electrical conduit (hardware store carries it in 10 foot lengths at $1 / ft.). At the same time I added 1/2 inch PVC pipe to the underground run for the water supply. Then I installed a small fill limiter valve ($14) available for swamp coolers to maintain the water supply without having to check it. By the way, hand filling it is okay but needs to be done at least every third day due to evaporation, ...your choice. The extra work and expense made the project fun and the results made the water fountain in the garden jump out. Also, I replaced the water tube supplied with a black one as it is easier to disguise.
