I tried another vendor and the splitter did not work properly with my model of modem C4000LZ(CenturyLink). Any time I went to use the landline the wifi would still disconnect. I saw another customer state he had the same issue and that he had to specifically look for a splitter identified as ADSL. Which these were...and they worked as advertised. I am now able to use my laptop and landline simultaneously without the wifi connection being dropped. Highly recommended. Thank you.
