We had a raccoon climbing the pole to get to our oriole jelly and orange feeders nightly. I ordered this not realizing it wasn't metal. On arrival I was a bit concerned but we installed it anyway. It worked great. Raccoon attempt up the pole was blocked. She gave up trying and moved on. Yay! If it will hold up like the metal ones I don't know. For now

This was so easy to put up. Fits well on a thinner pole. The kit also included rubber fittings if the pole is too thin. It is plastic, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up in Florida heat and sun, but we'll see. I've had a metal baffle on another pole for YEARS...squirrels haven't figured out. The metal has held up.
