A doctor wrote this?

This was written by a doctor? After reading the introduction, I'm afraid to try any of the recipes. You would think a doctor would be able to write grammatically correct sentences or at least have an editor who could correct the errors. But, to be fair, I chose to move on and read Chapter 1. The writing did not improve. I just cannot move past this absolutely horrible writing! I will verify the nutritional values before trying any of the recipes. Hopefully, something will shine a favorable light onto this book.
