Pictures are clear and colorful. Great for different activities, especially during fall tours and focusing on the changing leaves.

I was leery about buying a digital camera at this pricepoint, much less a waterproof one, but this little guy has proven resilient and useful. We dropped it on a hard surface, submerged in sea water, dropped wet on a sandy beach, and it still works. Picture quality is decent. A couple of things to note: Some reviewers found battery life an issue. Advice, scrap the cheap batteries and get a pack of name brand AA's such as Duracell or Energizer. We never had to change batteries our entire 7day trip. Also, the memory chip/battery compartment is NOT that hard to open, as some reviewers complain about. Read the manual. My only complaint though is that the screen is a bit hard to see on a sunny day, but the same can be said about waterproof cameras at triple this price point.
