It works!

I had low expectations for this because of its size and price. I had a glob of black stuff I couldn't get up with my normal filter vacuum, so I got this. It got all of it! Dead algae and pollen will slip through the bag and giant bunches of leaves and sticks (which you can easily get with a deep leaf skimmer) won't be picked up, but all the mushy gross stuff you don't want to touch and poofs up when you try to normal vacuum or skim it up gets picked up! I wish it were a little bigger to pick up bigger things, but I think it might not work as well if it was.

Works but slow going

I was quite surprised how well this works but with such a small bag it's really for quick maintenance. You will want something stronger and longer for say fall clean up of leaves.
