Marathon by Timex Men's Black/Gray 46mm Sport Watch, Resin Strap

This an inexpensive watch that has all the features anyone would need. The numbers are large as well as the watch is a bit on the large size but that is why I bought it. It has day of week , date, secs and you can push the stop/start button to show the actual date (ex. 2 -23-2015). I features a stop watch, alarm, hourly chime (if turned on), indiglo light, water resistant to 50 meters (~150ft) and T2 or second time if you travel to another time zone. It has numbers around the outside dial for 360 degree measurement . What more could you ask for at this price?

My 20+ year old Timex Marathon finally was damaged beyond repair when I caught it on a piece of shop equipment and broke the section that held the band. It still worked well, although the buttons had become a little hard to push. So I finally agreed with my wife and decided to replace it. We disagreed on what, so I went ahead and purchased another Timex Marathon. I wish that I hadn't waited so long! The new watch does all the same functions as my dependable old one, but is much easier to read, set, and use. The buttons are just big enough to be easy to find and operate. The backlight is just bright enough to read the face clearly, but not so bright to be obnoxious. I ordered it online, and it arrived within two days, so the shipping and the price were fantastic. Like my old Marathon, water doesn't bother the watch, so I wear it in the lake and pool without any problems. As the Times ads said many years ago "Timex, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking!"
