Kidwise Congo Safari Lookout and Climber Play System - Green/Sand

We purchased this play system thinking it would be the best option for our family. It is marketed to be a maintenance free product that was esthetically pleasing and had all the elements our kids wanted. It came at a much higher price than some of the lifetime products we were looking at but felt it was worth it to pay a higher price for everything we wanted. After we placed our order, the item was immediately back stocked. We had an original shipping date of 5-7 business days, yet it took OVER THREE MONTHS to receive the play system. We hired a local builder to put together the system as we knew we did not want to deal with it. Long story short the LICENSED CONTRACTOR kept coming to us pointing out flaws in the build of the product. Multiple pieces were missing pre-drilled holes and not properly marked. Various pages of the instructions has windings font which made certain pages completely useless. I had to directly request from the manufacturer blue prints for certain phases in order to have the builder drill holes in the appropriate locations. The beam clips for the swing were not properly manufactured making assembly an absolute nightmare. I helped this contractor try to make sense of everything and was completely shocked of the shotty workmanship that went into the pre assembly of this product. I paid extra to have this unit be installed by a professional. I am a fairly handy DIY person myself and I cannot imagine someone attempting to put this together themselves. I am hoping that the rest of this assembly goes smoothly, but I do not have high hopes. I will update my review upon completion.
