This Unna boot is for the ambulatory management of venous stasis leg ulcers. It's a gauze bandage that has been evenly impregnated with a nonhardening paste of zinc oxide. Unna boots are ideal for managing venous stasis ulcers, lymphatic edema, minor sprains, strains, fractures, thrombophlebitis and skin grafts on burn wounds. Derma Sciences' Unna boot is made without preservatives and with a nonraveling thread locked gauze.

Instructions
Begin bandaging at base of toes, without pressure, keeping foot and ankle at right angle. Continue bandaging beyond ankle, doubling back to ensure molding to contours of leg.
Continue bandaging to just below the knee.
Apply an elastic adhesive bandage (not included in box).
