HP2 is one of the best LED flashlights ever

I got a pair of these and the HP-2 is one of the most versatile and easy to carry LED lights I've owned. Just bright enough, good heft, but still light enough to ride around all day in your pocket and, like all Coast LEDs darn near indestructible. It has a positive pocket clip, and a slick twist focus from spot to flood beams. Not rechargeable, uses a single AAA battery but, if you're like me, you always carry an extra battery in car, desk or shop just in case. It is the right size (4 inches or so) for your pocket, or a lady's purse as well. My wife really likes the HP2 light, but mentioned it needs a lanyard loop- to keep from dropping it when carrying groceries, kids, to/from car/house in the dark. A removable lanyard would be nice and might keep your light from disappearing down places you don't want to or can't go to retrieve it. Would I buy it again, a resounding yes! Wish it came in colors too.

Great little pocket light

I've worked in construction most of my adult life and have always carried some form of flashlight. I'm a Superintendent now so I don't always have a full tool belt anymore but I still carry some form flashlight when I walk jobs. This little light was a bonus with another purchase and has since replaced my old safety vest flashlight. It's adjustable, uses a standard battery and has a great button that works even with gloves on.

The need for a light always hits when you least expect it. While using the light on your phone is always an option its not alway practical. The Crew HP2 is always at my ready to illuminate whenever and wherever necessary. The adjustable beam is bonus for those tight spaces.
