The M2 is by far the best in-ear monitor system for the mone

I'm the soundman for a classic rock band that plays 3-4 times a month. We all work day jobs and only have 45 minutes to an hour for setup and sound check at various local clubs and sports bars. The stages are way too small and we have to be careful not to disturb the patrons who are eating and watching sporting events before we start our shows. Conventional monitors were out of the question because of the size, setup/ equalization time and poor acoustical conditions so in-ear monitors were the best solution. We use 3 M2 systems that have worked flawlessly for almost 2 years now. The bass player even dropped one of the recievers hard and bent the concentric pot but I was able to easily take it apart and bend it back with no problems. The mix mode allowed me to send 1 aux mix from the board and a direct out from each singers channel to the transmitter that way they could turn up the vocal at their recievers and leave me alone to concentrate on the main mix. Having a low stage volume is critical to getting a great main mix when you play in small or poor acoustical venues and the M2's allow for not only a better monitor mix but a much cleaner main mix for the audience to enjoy. I really miss the M2 in-ear monitors when I mix other bands and have to use their sound system with traditional floor monitors. If you want an upgrade to your sound system and a superior monitor system to floor monitors run out to your LOCAL Audio Technica Dealer and get the M2 in-ear system!

Just what I needed....

Since going to a quite stage at our church I needed the best in-ear monitoring possible and went with custom molded monitors by Westone. Therefore, I needed a quality wireless system to complete my setup. I found everything I needed and more in the Audio Technica M2 system. I couldn't be more pleased with the value I received for the money I invested. I literally took it out of the box, plugged it in, installed batteries, turned it on and it worked! I guess I could have spent a lot more money, but I'm not real sure as to what I would have accomplished other than having less monney in my pocket. Thanks AT, Terry

Solid, Always ON Sound

I've had my M2s for over a year now, and they are rock solid. I can't imagine being on stage without them. Was very easy to adjust all the settings to get an optimal mix and level between vocals and instruments balanced between left and right ears. The health of my voice and ears now owes much to A-T. I use them 2-3 times per week, and am very impressed with the comfort and feel of the buds. I thought I would have to shell out for custom buds, but after each time I use them, it becomes less and less a desire. They sound great and the noise cancelling is very good. I've added an ambiance mic when solo, which really makes a difference interacting with a crowd I can hear. Once you experience the M2, I doubt you will ever wedge again. Just walk out of that sweet spot of a floor monitor and you'll understand that will never happen with the M2.
