InterDesign Shower Curtain Tension Rod - Bronze, Small, 26-42"

A little background on this rod: the instructions state to pull this rod to ONE inch larger than the opening you need to cover. You then TWIST THE ROD TO LOCK it in place (you twist until you can't turn it any more). With most tension rods you have to keep twisting and twisting just to get the length you need and it's usually several inches beyond the size of the opening. When they say an inch for this rod, they actually mean an inch. You can actually measure it to the length you need, lock it in place, and the spring inside allows you enough room to fit it in the space you want it without scuffing and scratching everything in its path...and it stays in place! I'm actually using these in my living room windows to put thick curtains behind the decorative ones to help keep heat in. Works like a charm just as expected. Holds in place well and I just love the look of the black finish. I think it is a very classy look in a shower since you always see stainless. the finish is very attractive with my decor. Very impressed with this product

Perfect! This heavy duty tension rod is exactly what I needed for the two, 3-tier sets of hanging shelves I just purchased. The tension rod has silicone type hard plastic discs on each end to protect the walls or door frames or where ever you need it to go so it will not slide and leave marks. It also has small instructions on the end of the part you are going to be adjusting. That was great, arrows showing me where to twist! It has worked out very well and the 3-tier shelves are loaded with extra sets of sheets which are quite a heavy load. Good sturdy quality and a price you can not beat!
