Not enough power to heat up and cook anything

First of all, the box arrived completely soaked and disintegrated when I touched it. Then I tried to grill chicken. It took more than 2 1/2 hours(!) to get the meat almost done, but the skin hadn't browned or cooked the at all. I cut the chicken in half and finished it for 20 minutes in my NuWave oven. No way this rotisserie grill would ever be capable of cooking gyros.
