This is a front-projection screen material with a viewing angle of 160° (80° +/- Left/Right). FlexiGray is 4K Ultra HD, and HDR ready. This DIY Projector Screen Material will work indoors or outdoors. Projection Screen Material must be tension-mounted/pulled tight and evenly in all four directions like a giant artist canvas for best results. For this reason we recommend a wooden fixed frame for this raw material item. This material is a high-tech 100% PVC product with little to no texture. Project onto the gray side, the back is black to prevent light from passing through the screen. It can be portable, foldable and mildew resistant if you choose not to tension mount it.
Tips:
Don't forget to buy Carl's Black Felt Tape for a professional-looking, contrast-boosting border (sold separately). If you want make a projector screen by wrapping the material over your frame, be sure to select a tension-mounted material such as FlexiGray (this product). Do not wrap a non-tensioned, thicker, stiffer material as it will cause permanent damage to the material. Additionally, you may need to order a larger size to cover the thickness of your frame. If you order a 71x126 cut, you will receive 71x126 inches of FlexiGray Projection Material material.
