Seismic Audio 1x15 Bass Guitar Speaker Cabinet and 2x10 Bass Guitar Speaker Cabinet

I saw this package deal while surfing the web, in search of speaker components (my big cheap idea being to build my own cabinet(s)). My aim was to run an extension cabinet to supplement the 15" driver in my old 200W KMD combo (which I call "the cube"). I came across this package deal while browsing the web in search of speakers and materials for my big cheap idea of building the cabinet myself. At that price (just under $350.00 with tax added), I figured they were worth the gamble, since this setup could be gotten quite a bit cheaper than I could ever build one myself. Even if they didn't sound all that great, I figured, I could eventually upgrade the components, and have decent cabs someday. They arrived less than 24 hours after I ordered them (pays to live close to the plant, evidently), and worked perfectly when I hooked them up. The guys were amazed by the clarity and tone they presented, complimenting the onboard 15" Eminence in the KMD beautifully! The extra 15 moves some serious air, while the 2 10s really added some much-needed punch! They're built pretty solid (in spite of the wimpy metal corner guards), yet are surprisingly lightweight, and seem like they'll stand up to some moderate gigging for many years. If I have to pick on these guys for anything, it's the rat-hair rug covering (a b*t?h to keep clean), but it still works out well for me, because it matches the ratty carpet covering the KMD perfectly. Even so, all three components together make an awesome, beautiful stack!
