The most critical feature I need in a frame is enough depth to accomodate a double mat and a backing piece, which these products fulfilled perfectly. Aesthetically, I want a frame that is minimalist -- simple unadorned wood, with a matte finish that is smooth and elegant, and that doesn't distract from the photo within.
