Simply place your detergent bottle onto the platform and a cup in front of the opening to catch the soap. Its raised molded edges keep the cup from sliding off and from drips from flowing onto the floor or shelves. It also has rubber feet to prevent the platform from sliding around, and straps you can use to fasten it to your dishwashing machine. Definitely a great addition to your laundry room decor.
