Skilsaw wormdrive for the win!

For a while Iv had a second hand skilsaw 77 50th anniversary edition gold. It's 30+ years old and still runs like new. But the weight is crazy. So I decided it was time for a upgrade and got the spt77wml-22 and holy what a difference. The saw is so light and had so much more power! The rafter hook is a great feature also. As soon as I took it out of the box I checked for oil and to see how true it was set up (hearing that some people got them and they weren't setup) but everything was ready to go! Put the blade on and went right to work! Now the old saw will be for around home and the new one goes everywhere with me. Great saw and can tell I'll have it for years! Now to decide on my next skilsaw purchase!

My old Skilsaw finally died; I purchased it brand new in 1992. This is my first Worm Drive saw, and I'm really impressed with it's power and handling! I look forward to using it on the oak bookcase I plan to start building next weekend; I have no doubts that it can easily handle the job.

It's even lighter than the saw it's taking the place of .HD77M And hopefully lasting as long (21 years before it got stolen) If the reputation of The skilsaw holds true ,and I think it will .
