This is nicely made rug and I would have rated it as a 5 but the rug has a peculiar smell to it. I'm putting it outside and it's been outside for a day and the smell is still noticeable. I'm hoping it fades out over time. I would not be so sure to put this rug indoors because of the peculiar smell.

This rug gets more soft with every wash. I've washed it three times due to an old dog that pees on it. 5x7 is the max size for your washing machine and dryer.
