Is a fine lamp without little kids around.
It's cheap but I have one in the computer room and it works in my mentally handicapped son's room too. So I have two of them. There are metal ones out there but OMG they want $60 to $80 for shipping!!! No thank you! If you have a bunch of little kids around, they'll probably wreck it and hope to high heaven they don't get electrocuted! In a home without little kids, should do fine. Google for replacement bulbs as that's what I did when some of the flickering "flame" bulbs burned out. Can find replacements. If put "up high" on a shelf, little kids might try climbing which might be a hazard given a particular circumstance. Me, I'm old and retired with guardianship of an adult mentally handicapped son and he doesn't mess with stuff except to turn if on or off.

Worth The Price - But Does Not Look Like The Photo
Be aware that the lamp matches the description, but does not match the photograph. It's is made from plastic, and it does not appear there is any way to replace the large bulb inside the cage. There are no assembly instructions, but it is easy to assemble. It does not have a "UL" label.
