All the best stuff comes from Japan

The parts fit together perfectly, like a Honda. Been driving it for a year & hundreds of miles at 6mph - 10mph. Only the motor was replaced with a Tacon 2848-2400kv brushless. The battery compartment was expanded to store a 5Ah 3S. Those 2 changes got it to 14 mile range at 7mph. The bushings needed a bit of grease to prevent squeeking. Any kind of battery upgrade requires longer screws than the ones provided. Couldn't find the exact same screws. The closest were Traxxas 3x20mm self tappers. Their threads were more widely spaced, but they managed to not strip.

Fun Basher, not the greatest value.

The Classic! I will start off with saying this thing is very easy and mostly painless to build, the only tools required are a pair of needle nose pliers, a set of screwdrivers (large Phillips, small phillips, large flat, small flat) and a knife (for cutting off plastic left from the part tree) To get it running you will require a Tx/Rx combo (check out the spektrum DX2E), A servo (most for 1/10 scale fit) and of course... batteries. I reccomend finding some aluminum boddy clip mounts, and bearings for the wheels and gear box, I consider both necessary upgrades. It's a lot of fun bouncy action with the stock dampers and motor, you can add oil shocks if you like, and it comes with a brushless 60a ESC, I could not get it to do wheelies with the stock silver can so I dropped in a 17.5t brushless (sensored) motor and got the action I was looking for. All in all, great fun, but I spent enough that I could have bought something like a ruckus RTR and had money left over to upgrade it to lipo/brushless. if you remeber this truck from your childhood it's a must have though!

NOT 4WD as advertized!!!

NOT 4WD as advertized!!! This is only rear wheel drive. This was terribly disappointing and we should get our money back!
