Klein Tools J12098 Journeyman 8 in. Universal Combination Pliers

So ya got less leverage, and and they don't hammer as good as traditional 9" Kleins. Those are my only cons in comparison. These are my troubleshooters. They're super versatile when paired with an 11 in-1 driver in my back pocket. I dremeled in a 12awg stripper at the top of the cutters. After mod, It still has more than enough free-blade to easily snip through intact 12awg 3-wire romex cable effortlessly. The thinner head profile and shorter length gives them a lot more access wiring in boxes. The drop in weight over traditionals allows me a little more control, and my hands are less cramped at the end of the day. I have a dipped pair, too, but definately prefer the Journeyman grips on these. They are not so thick that they hog a tool pouch. They spin in the hand better than pvc dip material, which can kinda drag on on skin or gloves and slow you down. The angular crimper is perfect on most 12/10 terminals I use. Please don't ever stop making these!
